Lisa Kudrow, Kristin Davis, Lauren Conrad, Molly Sims, Camyrn Manheim, and Chris Klein all showed up to participate in this year’s P.S. Art’s Express Yourself Charity Benefit.
P.S. Arts is a non-profit organization attempting to bring Art Education back into the public school system. This event was sponsored by Target and Starbucks, and featured a petting zoo, different arts and crafts tables, and a Daniel Pewter performance.
The events were in place to inspire guests to help raise money to reinstate art education to the public schools, and keep it their. For obvious reasons, the Arts are important to many Hollywood stars, so a bunch of them showed up in support the event. Jack Black brought his son with him, and Lisa Kudrow had her son, Julien with her. She said, “We always go home with something Julien makes, like a placemat that we use all the time… More importantly, we raise awareness about P.S. Arts to get the arts back in education.”
Chris Klein, who is on the P.S. Arts board, explained, “This is our cornerstone event.” He added that his favorite part of participating in the organization is, “To go to the schools where we’ve raised funds and see the kids with their hearts and souls open to a world they’ve never experienced before. It’s such a cool thing.”
Other celebs who showed up include Hilary Swank (hair freshly cut from Oprah), Lauren Conrad (who made a sock puppet at one of the craft tables), Kristin Davis (Charlotte, “Sex and the City”), Calista Flockhart with her son, Liam, Molly Sims, Alison Sweeney, and Jason Bateman with his daughter, among others.
